Terms

Who you are dealing with, what we do, and your rights, in plain English.

Plain-English terms, version 0.2, 17 October 2026. These terms are awaiting review by a solicitor and may be updated. We will tell you before any change affects a booking or plan you already have.

Who you are dealing with

Severn LetSafe is a trading name of Richard Harber, sole trader. We are not a limited company. Contact: [email protected] or 07377 768761. We cover Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

What we do, and who does the work

  • We arrange landlord gas safety checks, EICRs and EPCs, send reminders and keep your certificates in your LetSafe Vault.
  • The inspections are carried out by independent partner engineers under their own registration: Gas Safe registered engineers for gas, electricians registered with NICEIC, NAPIT or an equivalent scheme for EICRs, and accredited assessors for EPCs. The certificate is issued by the professional who did the work.
  • You contract with us for everything you book through us, and we are responsible to you for it.

Prices and paying

  • Our prices are published on the pricing page and shown in full before you commit. Severn LetSafe is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
  • One-off jobs are paid by card once your booking is confirmed. Plans are paid monthly by Direct Debit or yearly upfront.

Your right to cancel

  • You can cancel any order or plan within 14 days, for any reason. If you asked us to start work in that time, you pay only for what has already been done.
  • Rearranging a visit is free up to 48 hours before. Late cancellation and no-access charges are set out in the full terms and on the cancellations & exits section.
  • LetSafe Care has no minimum term. LetSafe Complete and Premier have a 12-month minimum term, with an early-exit balance that is never more than the fees left in your term.

If something goes wrong

  • We will carry out every service with reasonable care and skill. If we don't, we will put it right free of charge or refund you.
  • This does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • Complaints: email [email protected] and Richard will reply within one working day.

Your documents and data

Your documents are always yours and you can download them free at any time. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
